About me

Annie Dingwall (b. 2001, Troy, MI) started dancing at the age of two at Juliart Dance Studio. She is a current senior at Wayne State University where she is pursing both a BFA in dance and a BA in psychology. While at Wayne State she has been an involved student in the Maggie Allesee Department of Theatre and Dance taking on leadership roles in the department including Student Dance Recruitment Delegate, Senior Class Representative, and Dance Workshop Executive Director. In the department she has had the provlidge of training under Jessica Rajko, Dr. Biba Bell, Dr. RAS Mikey Courtney, Hannah Andersen, and Bryan and Shaina Baira. She has also been a part of choreographic work directed by Dr. Biba Bell, Jessica Rajko, Amy Miller, Leah O’Donnell, Jackie Nowiki, Bryan and Shaina Baira, Brotherhood Dance!, Maya Orchin, Stefanie Nelson, and Alex Clair amongst others. Annie has been able to travel to places including New York and Italy to be a part of workshops and intensives to further her artistic education. She had the honor of presenting work at Wayne State in the departmental December Dance Concert, Spring Dance Concert, Dance Workshop’s “Eyes on the Watchtower”, and BFA Senior Capstone Showcase “Shades of Bloom”.
